Long time, but back in business

I apologize for our long absence. After coming home from California life seemed to turn on to over drive. The three of us will be moving to a new home here in Jacksonville area in about 2 months. So starting the dreadful packing.
Starting our family new life style change. Healthier food menu, family exercise routines. Short term and long term goals for helping to keep us on track.
Did I mention a possible deployment coming up in about a month? We are hoping Kevin can switch his unit or for civilians, we are hoping he can move to a new job in the same field. Lol.

But the most important update of all, Tristan is growing like a weed. 20.5 lbs and 28 1/2 inches long. Solid as a rock and our little man has four teeth completely in and three that have broken through and working on coming in. Tristan enjoyed the fourth of July and the lots of extra play time he's had with Daddy aka Kevin with his time off from the 96 for the 4th.

I don't think I mentioned this last week, but for our part one of a Honeymoon Kevin took us to Biltmore and we we're able to go horse back riding!!!! Just saying : ]

Never fear, we'll be back

So, for everyone who reads and looks forwards to the updated pictures. I have not forgotten about our blog. From our last few days in California to a surprise Honeymoon part one. Now we are just trying to get re adjusted and everything back in order and routine. To make that even more challenging, Tristan has come down with a Fever and Viral infection. So as soon as our little man is feeling better, and we get our crazy lives back on track I'll be sure to give a detailed update!

June 6 :: Day 28

Not much happen today, the three of us had a lazy day and went out to lunch with a friend of Kevins! We never go to buffalo wild wings because the closet one to us is about a 45min drive. But when Tristan started getting a little cranky at the table I had fast thinking. Tristan for the rest of the visit chewed on a carrot!

We also played with Sunny, Kevins parents dog. And went out for dinner with his family for Nanas birthday!! Soooo Happy birthday Nana!!

June 5 :: Day 27

We had a park day!!! Plus Mommy got some girl mommy time with one of Kevin's friends who has become one of mine. I should have done better on pictures but Alyssa has a 4 year old and a 1 month. Both are great and adorable children : ]

Before our girl time though Kevin and I took Tristan on some slides and a swing! I'm looking so forward and dreading all the same when our little Man is running and jumping and sliding all on his own! Every moment is such a cherished memory with our little Man

I also forgot!  We were able to feed the duckies and Tristan smiled and giggled. I asked him all the time where the birdies are and instead of looking at the ducks he looked at the sky : ]

June 2 - 4 :: Day 24 - 26

What a busy past two days. We had our California wedding party. Meeting lots of new people and seeing lots of familiar faces. The gifts were far too kind and much loved. The next day we went for a few walks, and a few car rides. Tristan is now having a hard time with the time difference. He wants to sleep but it just wont come. That is one main reason I can't wait to go home. He gets just as cranky as I do when his sleep is all messed up.

Today is our last day with Ashton being here with us. So a visit to Jamba juice is in store and then taking Tristan on a nature walk. He'll be so excited cause he loves the outdoors just like his momma and papaw : ]

Then for you people who use to live in California and had a problem understand why I hates In ans Out burgers. Rest assure, it was just my pregnant taste buds. I had one and it wasn't dreadful.

June 1 :: Day 23

First day in California and let's just say its interesting. Tristan did amazing on the plane slept like an angel. His curiosity never ceases to amaze me. Walking into the airport he was all ears and looking at everything. We received lots of complements about how well behaved our little man is and it makes me so proud!

We were woken up at 4 after going to bed around I don't know midnight? Lol! Too bad you can't explain to a 6 month old that there is a time change and you have to stay sleeping. We went to the tide pools at Crystal Cove State Park in Newport Beach. It was a beautiful coast line, but very chilly and sadly the sea creatures didn't feel like showing off. The majority we saw was crabs, sea anemone, and sea cucumbers. Day one down and now we are getting ready for Kevin's welcome home party tomorrow!

May 25 - 31 :: Day 16 - 22

Yayy for Memorial Day weekend!!! Kevin was released early again and this time it was for a 96!! So we got our butts into gear for that awesome weekend!! Lots of family time, a trip to the aquarium, the beach and a bbq where we invited a few friends over. But I'd have to say the beach was the best part about our memorial weekend.

The reason for my lack of writing is because we had to get together our lives and pack it all up for our California trip. I'm a hole bundle of nerves because I'm not looking forward to a 6hour flight with a 6month old. Its a red eye so we shall see if we can get him asleep for the plan ride that leaves at 8pm.
