Yesterday, we threw Kevin a surprise party at outback. I blind folded him as soon as he walked out the side door and drove him around the mulberry tree so he would be confused. Tristan and I walked him into Outback, and as soon as the blindfold was taken off all his friends yelled SURPRISE!!!! Well for Kevin that was great, but poor Tristan wasn't to thrilled with the outburst. He instantly busted into tears. But that fixed quickly by our "his" mister frog.
Kevin past two birthdays haven't been so great... two years ago he was waking up his first day in North Carolina after a 7 hour plane ride not knowing where his life was going to be going. Then last year he spent his birthday inside a tin can called the USS Bataan, miles and miles away from family and land of any kind.
Then this morning after a late evening my lovely little boy didn't let a tired mommy sleep. I mean that's too much to ask for right??? Lol. But I found him this morning legs through his crib rails again and somehow managed to sneak one foot out of his footie pajamas. How this happen, I'm not quite sure.
As for today, it was spent seeing Daddy at work for lunch after his 10mile hike, running some errands and playing with our puppy Daley. All in all a very busy, laid back day. So we are now waiting on hero to come home and spend a wonderful weekend together and my first mothers day : ]
